Completed in 2023, the Thunderbird Residences at the UBC Vancouver Campus include five (5) simplex elevators across five (5) residential buildings in partial exterior/outdoor environments. Apex assessed the existing elevator equipment and reported a recommended scope of work, budget, and schedule for upgrades. We worked with UBC to finalize the scope of work, break up the project into two (2) phases to meet client’s budgetary requirements, and engage contractors for the project. We provided field reviews and meeting minutes throughout construction and conducted completion inspections at the end of each project.
