Completed in 2023, this 10-storey residential building features one (1) overhead traction elevator with fire service. The modernization scope included a full replacement of the controller, machine, roller guides, and door operator, upgrades to the cab interior, as well as Firefighter’s Emergency Operation (FEO). Apex was involved from the initial survey and design through to completion. We were responsible for project management, developing the modernization specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating electrical work and the building permit required for the fire alarm.
