In 2023-2024 Apex assisted the Owner in undertaking a complete modernization of the 2-stop passenger elevator. Scope included replacement of all major machine room, hoistway, and door components, and an upgrade of the cab interior finishes. The plunger/cylinder assembly on the hydraulic elevator system had been replaced in prior years and was retained under the modernization project. Associated electrical including the provision of a dedicated elevator telephone line was required. Apex completed the project design, reviewed shop drawings, conducted pre-construction meetings, and construction & completion field reviews.
