Apex is providing elevator consulting services throughout the design and construction for a couple of staggered modernizations at this facility. Elevator #5 serves the library portion of the building and important aspects of the design and construction phase included noise reduction of the elevator equipment and security features restricting access to various landings within and outside of the library – this project was completed in 2023. Elevator #4 serves the main atrium – project design and shop drawing reviews are complete and the contractor is slated to start modernization construction in Summer 2024.
